MGT During the load/unload study we will time the amount of time it requires to load/unload a vehicle, depending upon the process used at each station.

Safety Officer has investigated the loading and unloading practices of the Step Van at a graded dock and deems it safe provided the DA is using proper loading techniques at Scarborough LCD 11.

CUPW Temps selecting assignments are not offered by seniority

Sometimes temps at station level were not allowed to select assignment by

seniority.

Mgt Jimmy said that he offers the assignments by seniority when there are more

than one assignment available. He hasn’t had much opportunity to do so as

temps were assigned to same stations during most of the winter months. If

the union can provide a name I could check further.

Penny to issue message to all stations of the correct process.
