Depot 11, walk #2 04-2012"CPC: Updates have been done. CUPW: Glen Filier is off. He will follow up. Glen F. and Glen R. to meet at Dep 11 on May 13th
Ajax/Pick mail coming in late 11-2012CUPW: The mail is coming in late. This has been since November. CPC: They are on separate runs now and has been alleviated. It is still a work in progress and we are re-allocating staff when needed to ensure we meet the departure times.  
Strip mall Harwood and Kingston 11-2012CUPW: This is still not fixed....Walk 25. CPC: Amanda will follow up with Ajax station to verify if there are still issues. STATUS QUOA. Jeffery
Walk packages 04-13CUPW: We have not received any walk packages from any stations implemented. They were not ready when we asked the station. CPC: Mgrs will follow up to supply to unionALL MGRS
Don Mills walk - transit delivering to 5 ton dockCUPW: There is a walk in Don Mills structured to clear the RPO at Lawrence and DM. You are expecting the ford transit drivers to deliver to a 5 ton dock. It is unsafe. It needs to be changed. CPC: Learie will give the walk # to Amanda for follow up. STATUS QUO......Learie did not send info to Amanda. He will do so after this meeting.L. Charles A. Jeffery

Bar chart vettingCUPW: Willowdale 2 has not been done since last October. When you have routes that have not been covered it makes it difficult for the person doing the barcharts if they have not been trained. The trained person is now off, it looks like you don't want him to do it. CPC: Pam will ensure that it is caught up. Tim will be brought in. We had forcebacks and we tried to get the routes out.P. Retrofitting of Transit Connects and Handcarts 07-12"CUPW: When will retrofitting of transit connects and handcarts be done? CPC: More carts are available. Supvrs to address issue through mini meetings and let employees know they are available. Jan to follow up with Dan Lawn. No personal carts should be used. All completed in Ajax / Pickering. Julie will discuss with fleet to see if it can be done. STATUS QUO

Stouffville and Markham LJOSH inspectionsCUPW: Prep and LJOSH meeting or tour to be held in under 1 hour. CPC: Deb. Nicholson to address. Kerry told Julie she gives as much time as necessary. Feb 26/13 has been brought to Deb Nicholson's attention and addressed. G. Pratt will also follow up with the rep at the station.....May 9th, 2013: Jim Lintern and Deb Nicholson will be at the next meeting to address all issues that are pertaining to the LJOSH in Stouffville. The union needs to have members for the committee  
H&S training for LJOSH CPC: There were courses last week and LDI is sending out a list of dates to Jan soon. The list has to be refreshed and we will inquire who needs to be sent. CUPW can also send a list of names. May 9/13 - Classes are being scheduled. We are still getting lists of names who needs training. List can be sent to Mike D.  
Sequencing not being corrected 10-2012CUPW: RMO saying supv not doing corrections. Non sequenced to go to MSD case and then manual sort but going back to  
 the plant. Also, issue with building mail not being deselected. Someone is needed to correct it. They should get a form they can put the errors into. CPC: Jan will look into and follow up. May 9/13 - The MSD process will be revised in the next month or so.J. Mullett
Depot support training 11-2012CUPW: When is this happening?? The relief should have training. LDI should have the list of people who have the training. CPC: The majority are trained now and more are being trained but we have to prioritize. Encumbents first, then relief, etc. The encumbent will get a formal 2 day training  
Receiving R.O.E 11-2012"CUPW: Workers are having trouble Records of Employment to get E.I. We should have an accesshr representative here. CPC: Accesshr is not responsible for sending it. We will outline the process in writing... For unpaid absences > 30 days, a standard LOE form is completed by the supervisor and electronically submitted to AccessHR.
AccessHR, upon receipt updates SAP. The employee will go from "active" status to "inactive" status.
A ROE will automatically be forwarded to Service Canada.
The ROE is generated after all earnings have been processed for the pay period that includes the last day paid.
AccessHR sends ROE's to Service Canada on the last Friday before payday
If an employee wishes to receive a copy, they can do one of two things:

Contact AccessHR
An employee can also request a ROE from AccessHR who will create and send the ROE electronically "  
CPC losing WSIB decision 11-2012CUPW: What is an acceptable time for CPC to pay back and adjust for lost wages, benefits, etc.? CPC: You are referring to a specific case out of Pickering. Glen will look into and get back to Joanna....There has been a payment made but still leave needs to be reconciled....STATUS QUO. May 8/13 - The matter is being dealt with in the grievance procedure with Ken D. and Glen R.G. Ramlochan

Walk 15 Unionville 02-2013CUPW: How can walk 15 in Unionville be unassigned. CPC: Julie to follow upJ. Parent
Don Mills LJOSH alternate 04-2013CUPW: The alternate was not allowed to sit in for the meeting. Also, can we get the zone LJOSH's together for issues? Both co-chairs voted not to have her in. CPC: Julie to follow up. May 9/13 - Jim Lintern is the H&S person for the facility. T. Vango will be contacting him directly to have the matter escalated.J. Parent S. Vango
48.02 Normal departure time 05-13CUPW: There should be a normal departure time by the wave. A normal departure time should be established. Any station recently restructured should be looked at and a time established. CPC: There will be an adjustment period after the restructure to determine if letter carriers are leaving at the normal departure time/s established in the restructure process. If there are issues that arrive after the 'adjustment' period then the specific unit will be looked at to determine if there needs to be the one month study as per article 48.02. If it's found that employee/s are experiencing difficulties meeting this departure time then the study will be done to establish the reason/s and set a different time if necessary.  
Scarborough Components 05-2013CUPW: With all the restructures, moves, etc, the components should be re-established to avoid any difficulty that may arise with any part timers wanting to act as full time employees. CPC Would like the union to put together proposal based on the current list identifying the changesMark D.
Willowdale 2 and 3 profile 05-2013CUPW: We would like the proposed profile for the upcoming moves of the 2 stations. CPC: Information will be supplied to you. There are 2 meetings in the next week to discuss and will be finalized in that forum  
Willowdale 2 overtime 05-2013CUPW: OT lists for Will 2 were supplied by Ken D. They are administrating both the equal and forceback list incorrectly. There could possibly be bypasses. CPC: Agreed the recording should indicate as per article 15 but may not mean there has been bypasses. CUPW: Ken can visit the station and show how the list should be administered. If necessary LR can also be there to clarify.  
FORM 6'S WSIB 05-2013CUPW: Form 6's are still being handed out to employees. CPC: It is a recommendation only for the employee to complete as it expedites the process. It is not a requirement that the employee fills out to return to management. If there are employees that are being told otherwise please escalate to the superintendent or manager responsible for the employee.  
14TH Avenue air quality 05-2013CUPW: We understand that there should be an air quality study and Jim Lintern denied it. We would like to know why? CPC: Julie and Jan will follow up with Jim to find out whyJ. Parent J. Mullett
WCB advisory letter 05-2013CUPW: Your sups are putting the wrong information in the system e.g. abandoned claims are put in as being denied and the worker may be still able to have the claim reversed. CPC: Abandoned claims are treated as denied claims and when WSIB advises us we have to adjust our systems accordingly. The worker may still be able to have his claim reversed if he provides the necessary documents to WSIB  
S/L mail for RSMC's at Unionville 05-2013CUPW: There are late trucks at Brodie and people are waiting for a long time. Info on truck arrivals given to Jan. CPC: Jan will review the info with Julie and see what can be done.J. Mullett J. Parent'
Don Mills - RetailCUPW: They are still using temps again in Don Mills. There is fully trained retail person working in the plant and you have temps in retail. The temp you are using must also be bilingual. CPC: Danny Kotsopolous advised he has meeting scheduled March 8th with CUPW to discuss this and other issues. May 9/13 - As per email from Danny meeting scheduled to discuss with unionD. Kotsopolous
Retail annual leave 02-2013CUPW: When we consulted on retail annual leave, the proposal was partial columns. Under Burkett decision this is not allowed. There are now partial columns on it. It is also a change in past practice and contrary to the collective agreement. CPC: Will review and respond. May 9/13 - As per email from Danny meeting scheduled to discuss with unionD. Kotsopolous
