2010 Full Restructure

CPC: Waiting for information on this. You will be given the required 10 days notice.

CUPW: January is the tentative date for the restructure implementation. There is a national agreement on what is considered as a tour change and provides the criteria for what is an update and what is a restructure. If your position is that it is not a restructure then we will be filing a grievance.

You need a union observer present with you during this process. There is work being moved from tour to tour and the start times are changing. This is defined for LC but will check for MSCs.

CPC: All information is being sent to you as it comes available on all tour changes in YDC. These changes are regular changes not restructure.

Bar Charts

CPC: Will review in one month.

CUPW: Information provided does not indicate whose position is being backfilled. Would like position number of position being backfilled, who owns that position and who is backfilling the position.

Review Article 46.05 which refers to 47.16. Have more than 50% of the duties changed? If so, the tours need to go up for bid.

CPC: None of the tours are changed more than 50% at any time during the regular tour changes.
