9:00 AM
Rocky
calls the group to order.
Rocky: I will be conducting town hall meetings with the
MSC’s at 1 Yonge St. Feb 27th at 7:30, 9:00, 1:45 and 4:00. I
welcome anyone present to join me.
As positions are added how shall we proceed?
CUPW – Discussions should happen during our Thursday
meetings.
CPC – Agreed.
CUPW – The “breakout” will move the positions over to
the PDD, with more to be added in the future?
CPC – Yes.
Further more it was discussed that schedule changes
will be impacted. The working number of positions is 35, and this covers all
3 shifts. In the event there are not enough people wishing these positions,
it will go to the monthly bidding process. More information will be
available at our next meeting.
CUPW – What about weekend processing?
CPC – It will all depend upon volume of mail.
All review Betsy’s Looping process map, with the
modifications. Many copies where available.
Next week we plan on a process mapping exercise, where
we can attempt to map a day in the life of PO-4’s MSC’s as well as map the
project time line.
10:30 – Break 11:15 – Return
CPC – The keying stations at 1 Yonge, were updated
yesterday. Wai and an Engineer will be at 1 Yonge on Friday to take a look
at the belt. Pickups and SLB’s data is still ongoing.
CUPW – We still have issues on the letter hampers, both
for time values, weight and point out that the wheels are problem.
Bar charts and the whole process, has been inconsistent
and incomplete. We believe that there are too many road blocks, and request
clarification.
CPC – We will review.
The committee is shown the working document on MSC to
MLC. During this presentation all finalize the wording, and copies are
released.
1:20 PM the meeting is adjourned.
