Operations Announcement
Rocky Gualtieri has advised of his intention to retire from Canada Post in 2006.
As a result, effective August 29, 2005 Rocky will be working with Mike Young's team to design and implement a fully integrated Yard Management Model for the Gateway campus, The model will draw on the inter dependencies of the operation encompassing the Traffic Control Room, TCO's, Shunting and Scheduling to allow for an effective access and egress system. With Rocky’s background in Transportation, the Region looks forward to the benefits of this critical review.
With Rocky's new assignment, Carla Ciallella will assume responsibility for Parcel Delivery. Reporting to Carla will be Mike Shearon, Sean McInerney, Peter Brennan and T.C. Chung.
Pending the outcome of Rocky's analysis and review, Transportation will report on an interim basis to John Wozney in Mail Operations Support. Reporting to John will be Sal Plastina.
