LOCAL ELECTIONS MARCH 22, 2004
Special Election Issue, March 2004
The following positions are up for election as per 9.2 e) of the Scarborough Local Bylaws
Vice-President at Large (full time) Technical Assistant (full time) 1st Vice-President (part time) 3rd Vice-President (part time) Route Structure Officer (part time)
These positions will be for a three year term expiring April 2007.
Nominations for these positions were held at the February General Membership meeting. The results of the nominations are as follows:
Vice-President at Large: Dean Roosevelt was nominated. He was acclaimed to the position.
Technical Assistant: Harry Leslie and Gord Miller were both nominated and will be running for the position.
1st Vice-President: Kate Munday and George Tomaszewski were both nominated and will be running for the position.
3rd Vice-President: Ken Davidson was nominated. He was acclaimed to the position.
Route Structure Officer: Thomas Parkes and Dean Pedrick were both nominated and will be running for the position. Election date, time and location Date: Monday, March 22, 2004 Time: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Location: C.E.P. Banquet Hall, 975 Kennedy Road Common Room (lower level) (Kennedy south of Lawrence, see « on map below) Required identification: a union card or government photo I.D. is required to vote
Please Note: All union members in good standing are eligible to vote. This includes RSMCs, temporary, part-time and full-time union members. There is no mandatory meeting prior to voting. You can vote in minutes and be on your way.
