RMO ISSUES

 

SORT FOR-PICKERING

 

Issue being addressed in March by parties.

 

CMVI

 

Management advised that this was sent in February, union requests quarterly, D. Thurston to provide quarterly.

 

WALK 645-WEST HILL

 

Issue is resolved.  

 

The union is requesting that the 075 report be posted in each facility when received or changes occur. Management to confirm with R. Carroll.

 

280 PROGRESS PARKING PLAN

 

Issue is presently being addressed.

 

BI MONTHLY MEETINGS

 

Parties agreed to conduct, issue closed.

 

WILLOWDALE D 3-WALK 35

 

The union stated that the route is under assessed by 134 minutes daily, C&D to review, Ken and Bo to meet and discuss.   

 

SCARBOROUGH D RESTRUCTURE OBJECTION

 

C&D has reviewed, Domenic and T. Parkes to review, issue should be resolved and closed.

 

A62 PAYMENTS

 

Follow up to occur with D. Driscoll to confirm B3 completed and actioned.

 

4 HOUR DD TRAINING

 

A class is scheduled for March 23, 2010 at EDC, a date is to be arranged for East area, union advised that B. Laslo to be contacted for representative for training, L. Budhoo to be advised of same.

 

AJAX PT TO FT LCA

 

Issue to be addressed in arbitration.

 

STAFFING LETTERS

 

No new information, M. Duquette to send information/email to C. Licorish.

 

UNIONVILLE OT LISTS

LJOSH COMMITTEE TRAINING

 

J. Wineck to address.  

 

VOP SUSPENSION

 

Only issue outstanding was RLC permitted to return to coverage of route, J. Wineck to confirm, if so resolved.

 

STAFFING

 

Union stated that confirmation required in relation to group 1 relief assignments.

 

Management stated that review is occurring, assignments not intended to be deleted, results to be sent to M. Duquette. The approval process has delayed implementation

 

RLC assignments have been adjusted, Willowdale station Depots 2 and 3 updates to be sent to union.

 

BAR CHARTS

 

Outstanding are Malvern, delete 1 less due to Scar F, Unionville, org. change of 1, request plus 1, West Hill, employee assigned number 1 shift for extended period, deleting 1, should be zero, occurred spring/summer of 2009.  

 

PARKING-WBC

 

Closed.  

 

RTS MAILS NOT BEING PROCESSED @ 280 PROGRESS

 

RTS mails addressed, issue closed.  

 

WEST HILL-YDC MAILS TO RPOs

 

Issue is ongoing, is being addressed with S. Edwards, YDC and Retail.

 

WSIB-MASTERY NET

 

J. Wineck to confirm whether placed on employee’s personal file.  

 

HRSDC REPORT

 

The union stated that they have not received as yet; it is to be posted monthly on H&S/LJOSH bulletin board.

 

J. Wineck to request and obtain results.  

 

REPLACEMENT STEP VANS

HH DELIVERY FLAG/COLOURS

NEW BUSINESSS

 

5 DAY DELIVERY SPAN-HH

 

The CMS reflects that each route is to be divided into approximate equal sections for each span of 3 or 5 day delivery. The Admail split is to be posted on the case header board that provides numbers required to convert the daily Admail to line of route after breaking the route into the required 3 or 5 day delivery span.

ROTATION OF DUTIES-280 PROGRESS

 

Employees claim rotation of duties not being adhered, one employee prevented from performing RTS duties.

 

Management to review.

 

MYSITE

 

The union is concerned that employee searches allows for identification of work location, could be privacy issue.

 

Management to respond.

 

ABLOL KEYS

 

Additional sets are limited to five for security purposes. Header boards require updating to reflect keys.    

 

RETAIL

 

DON MILLS RETAIL LOCATION

 

A new location has not been determined to date.

 

DON MILLS VACATION SELECTION ISSUE

 

S. Ballintine/L. Bastista to provide response why were employees allowed to re-select vacation leave for Pickering, MIP and Markham.

 

WBC FIRE EXTINGUSIHER

MAPLE ANNUAL LJOSH REPORT

 

The union states that they have not received.

STOUFFVILLE-RICH HILL RPO CLEARANCES

 

G. Pratt to address with J. parent for temporary fix until GEO addresses.

Issue remains unresolved.  

 

WBC NEW ROUTE

 

Closed.  

 

SALARY ADJUSTMENT SHEETS

 

Issue addressed with S. Valla, he has reviewed with national officer, and the rate is reflected properly, bi weekly pay reflects $335.06, divided by 10 days is $33.51. RMS calculations are based on 250 days, bi weekly rate properly calculates by formula the actual number of working days.

 

EDIT BOOK

 

Edit book will not apply to RSMC at this time.

 

WORK HARDENING PLANS

 

An employee who was not progressing on a work hardening plan required their assistant to perform more duties/hours than allotted, management to review for next meeting, compensation for employee sought.

 

GEO ROUTES

 

The union inquired at what point are routes frozen when GEO exercise to be conducted.

 

When data is finalized and we are ready to create new routes the station is advised that no further POC can be added or deleted from existing routes. During this “freeze” period any instances of POC requiring delivery are to be paid to RSMC, (CPC 30 day delivery policy). This is assisted by the local RSO.

 

UNIONVILLE

 

S. Edwards is addressing with G. Pratt and C&D Support.

 

The union has concern with removal of 22 cent remuneration replaced with 9 cent increase as management advises adjustment is based on changes to variables, S. Edwards to confirm.

Resolved/closed.

 

ANNUAL INSPECTION

 

The union stated that Rich Hill, Maple, Ajax and WBC have not been updated.

 

J. Wineck to address Rich Hill and WBC.

 

Ajax, one route SS9 has not been updated from November 2008, keep being advised that a supervisor is addressing. POC and PCI values for one year at issue. P. Comport has confirmed that the annual inspection is completed on all routes now and any outstanding monies have been submitted. .   

 

MAPLE BASE BOARD HEATERS

 

Baseboard heaters have been removed, BLJC is addressing.   

 

AJAX CASE LOCATIONS

 

Closed.

 

NEW BUSINESSS

 

UPDATES-GEO

 

Unionville next to be conducted, union inquiring future locations.

 

Management to attempt to obtain future scheduling.

 

UNIONVILLE-SPACE SHORTAGE

 

A meeting is scheduled for later in week to address.

 

ON CALL RELIEF

 

The union states that there are insufficient relief; RSMCs are continually requested to assist in coverage of routes.

 

Issue remains outstanding, decisions on long term absences are being addressed.
