2 Meal on Route-Pickering D. Thurston advised restaurants are canvassed.  Yeah or neah.  4 routes identified during 2007 restructure.  Union asked if it was structured that way claiming no one was given meal on route.       
    One location is now closed.  No purchase erequired therefore no entitlement to employee.

4 “Sort Fors” in Pickering, MLC with lunch before depart. Delivery Support is adding more sort fors where multiple ee sort for multiple ee.  Station to request Delivery Support to examine. Mgr to investigate and advise D. Driscoll/September 30, 2009
         
5 Willowdale Depot 2 Restructure Volume count delayed as a result of audit conducted and  due to lack of resouces in Delivery Support not being available until 2010.  J. Coe requested audit results for follow up. Received and shared with station. Closed.
         
6 Unionville Restructure Delivery Support must confirm implementation date.  Union advised if it is past the 6 month period of November, the union must agree via an MOA. New date January 11, 2010 Closed.
         
  UNFINISHED BUSINESS      
         
1 Depot 11 Concerns: Keypad Keypad installed and will be activiated Activate keypad Closed
         
2 4 hour Health & Safety Module (DD) Union is waiting for CPC response on paid time for soliciting additional members at facilities.  Training will be starting in November.  Mgt's position is payment of wages by CPC applies only to workplace committee members as per Article 135.1 of abour Code therefore CPC will not pay for the solicitation of additional members.  Mgt will notify G. Sharma of election of H & S members in December as a consideration to this training. Nofiy G. Sharma of election of H & S members in December.  Updated list to be provided to M. Duquette. J.     The union advised that one day prep time was previously agreed to between union and CPC.  Mgt advised one day prep time was applicable under the umbrella committee which no longer exists.  EE are given sufficient time however one day prep time for a one or two hour meeting is not justified.   Closed.
3 280 Parking Plan, Values, RSMC’s, PV’s 2 minute value will be paid.  Delivery Support advises Pre article 50's are required for Malvern loading value. Mgr will clarify with Delivery Support and advise final position in this matter J. Parent/August 28, 2009
         
4 Group 1 Staffing (Post Offices – 6.05) YDC is considered part of the East Delivery Post Office and CPC position that it does not impact on Article 54   Closed
         
5 New Key process – Dep 11 Union advised June minutes reflect that if ee incurs additional time they are eligible to apply under the 15.08 process.  L. Waine clarified they do not but state 15.08 is applicable.  Union will grieve   Closed.
         
         
6 LJOSH Workplace Committee Report WBC is still outstanding.  Mgrs must verify all stations reports and notify union.  Don Mills and Will 3 provided to union. Mgrs to verify and provide revision if applicable. All Mgrs/August 28, 2009
         
         
7 Ajax PT LCA going FT LCA Investigation required to determine extended hours and assignment.  Worked 6 to 8 hours over 12 month period. Audit required D. Driscoll/August 28, 2009
    Grievance July 07.  Period from May 07 to July 08.    
         
8 Staffing Letters Exclusion of seniority date and ranking is an issue to both parties. Both parties to pursue further M. Duquette/J. Parent/August 28, 2009

10 Recovery Process Art 35.06 Central pay process is that when an ee is on LWOP absence and receives overpayment, the overpayment is recovered in one lump sum.  Art 35.06 does not apply in this case. L. Waine to pursue further. L. Waine/September 30, 2009
         
11 Terms  Of Reference Mgt advised that terms of reference distributed to Stations by D. Beckner.     Closed
  C&D New Business      
         
1 Bar Charts Union advised not receiving monthly bar charts from stations.  Chart provided by union. Mgrs to follow up. All Mgrs/Immediately
         
         
2 WBC Restrictions on Clerks leaving for lunch Union claims ee are not allowed to leave station at lunch.  Mgt clarified they are simply asking if ee goes out for lunch to let MGt know for H & S reasons and emergency circumstances.   Closed.
         
3 Other Issues Round Table      
         
4 PT walk  45 Ajax Union advised Walk 45 is valued at 6 hrs 40 minutes.  Not getting lunch value. Mgt to investigate and advise D. Driscoll/September 30, 2009
         
5 LC Edit Document Union advised it is not to be used until consultation takes place.  Mgt advised that schedules for the stations have been established by the Training Dept.   Closed.
         
6 Reinstatement of licence and impact on VOP reinstatement Union asked at what point can an employee's VOP be reinestated after licence is reinstated.  Mgt will confirm with Fleet Management. J. Coe to follow up J. Coe/September 30, 2009
         
7 Wheeling of Scar D Union asked for confirmation if supervisors are wheeling.  Mgt confirmed they are and was attempting to train an employee but will utilize George or Patty if necessary.   Closed.
         
8 Unionville shuttle Driver moving monos Union advised that shuttle driver is moving monos around.  Mgt advised the shuttle driver would be picking up despatches and if no LCA on site, shuttle driver is required to load.  Mgt will follow up to ensure despatches are on the dock for shuttle driver. Mgt to advise station to have Lca stage despatches on dock prior to departure. J. Coe/September 19, 2009
         
9 Bomb scare at Kennedy subway station. Union advised that employees were not made aware.  Mgt advised no information pertaining to this matter however when such a situation occurs Mgt will take appropriate action.   Closed.
         
10 Scar C-Area to be resurfaced Union advised a particular area of Scar C floor was to be resurfaced and it has not been done. Mgt to follow up for completion J. Parent/September 30, 2009
         
11 Cross sectioning at 280 Progress Union raised concern with method being applied in cross sectioning.  Use relief first.  Mgt advised if no work in section, ee must move.     Closed
         
12 B3 Payment Union provided sample of paystub with no indication  referencing grievance number and ee paid 9.5 hrs instead of 16 hrs.. L. Waine to follow up L. Waine/September 30, 2009
         
         
13 Grievance Hearings Union raised issue with grievances not getting heard for remote areas.  Mgt advised those who have grievances must schedule with union.   Closed.
         
14 Clerks moving monos Union asked if safety shoes were required.  Mgt advised clerks can move monos and safety shoes are not reuired when using ergo lifts or other manual equipment.   Closed.
         
15 EE Survey results 2008 Union asked if all stations were to share and post results.  Mgt confirmed all stations were to share and post results.   Closed.
         
16 Article 13.26 Bid Separate consultation will be scheduled To be determined.

1  LC doing Group 1 work at Markham. Consultation being set up with Retail to deal with issues. S. Ballantine/M. Duquette
