    One location is now closed.  No purchase erequired therefore no entitlement to employee.

3 Appendix, HH training Union want to know about ee prior to 2003 and Retail    
    National HH Committee determined employee eligibility and date of Sept 2003.  All employees from Sept 2003 forward are being trained.  247 employees trained to date.  14 scheduled to be trained.  K. Edmunds provided update to union. Closed

5 280 Parking Plan, Values, RSMC’s, PV’s 2 minute value will be paid.  Delivery Support advises Pre article 50's are required for Malvern loading value. Mgr will clarify with Delivery Support and advise final position in this matter J. Parent/August 28, 2009
         
6 Group 1 Staffing (Post Offices – 6.05) Union has issue with CPC position of MSC at YDC not part of the East Post Office. LR to clarify L. Waine/August 28, 2009
         
7 New Key process – Dep 11 Union states that minutes do not reflect CPC position to     
    pay evaluated time if not portal to portal even if on the clock.  Union advises it is like incentive time.    
    CPC position is 15.08 request procedure is applicable.  Union will grieve. Closed

9 Ajax PT LCA going FT LCA Investigation required to determine extended hours and assignment.  Worked 6 to 8 hours over 12 month period. Audit required D. Driscoll/August 28, 2009
    Grievance July 07.  Period from May 07 to July 08.    
         
10 Staffing Letters Exclusion of sensiority date and ranking is an issue to both parties. Both parties to pursue further M. Duquette/J. Parent/August 28, 2009
         
11 Approved WSIB – return of sick credits. Union advises process must be streamlined, consistent and more timely.    
    The only document that should initiate action is the WSIB summary decision.  If ee submits their WSIB letter to supervisor, CPC can act on this by initiating contact with claims officer. Mgrs to communicate to stations 28-Aug-09
         
  C&D New Business      
         
1 Group 1 Bid postings, Rotation of duty at 280 progress by section.  EE stated that on bid postings they did not bid on section.   In process All parties/August 28, 2009
    Section column on bids should reflect station.  Julie asked if they can be left separate.  Correct section deflinitions for next postings.  Membership meeting to vote on group 1 area bid.  Union will advise.     
         
2 Recovery Process 35.06 Grievance # 02431 submitted.  Union request clarification on which overpayments meet 10% recovery criteria  Clarification from Payroll J. Coe/August 28, 2009
         
3 B-3 implementation EE not getting paid within reasonable timeframe.  Union sent letter to P. Mulvihill.  Process flawed and untimely.   Improve process L. Waine/August 28, 2009

6 LJHSC Terms of Reference (NJHSC meeting – May 15, 2009) Union provided copy of new terms of reference.   Mgt will review for further discussion. Next Meeting
         
7  Other Issues – round table      
  Injury Interviews Union objects to interviewing ee for failing to report accidents immediately.  CPC will continue process to ensure all obligations are met  Closed  
         
8   Union advises Supervisors need to know A/I log information can be obtained over the phone.   Mgrs to review and advise All Mgrs/August 28, 2009
    Union enquired about FAF deadline of 48 hours.  CPC advised this requirement has been in place for years and is still a requirement. Closed  
         
9 Uniform Union enquired about uniform requrements.  CPC advised all uniformed employees are required and expected to wear uniform even when on modified duty.  Station Mgt is required to enforce.. Closed.  
         
10 Smoking /Parking Union request awareness communication.  Mgt advised it is ongoing educations. Closed  
         
11 Bar Chart Vetting Union enquired about Scar F vetting.  Mgt advised daily vetting is happening.  Mgt advised some vetters not vetting daily.  Union will follow up with vetters C. Beth/August 28, 2009
         
12 Ikea  Consideration should be given to heavy mail processing.    
         
13 Group 1 Rotation of Duty Union advised RTS must be included in rotation where available for all employees capable.  CPC agrees. Mgrs to communicate to stations All Mgrs/August 28, 2009
