There was no 1st quality meeting held so it was agreed by all parties that the meeting would be for both 1st and 2nd quality review.

The corporation asked if there were any outstanding issues to be resolved. Tom Parkes advised that all issues were resolved other than an issue concerning some tubs counted as A12’s. The Union’s position is that the oversize items counted in Tubs should be assessed as if they were sorted in an A32.  Managements position is that the oversize items sorted in Tubs should be assessed as if they were sorted in an A12.  Bo and Tom agreed to check with Lance Waine regarding any previous arbitration on this matter. The Union may grieve if not resolved.

Management and the union discussed timelines for the restructure and both parties agreed that an extension was needed and it was agreed to change the implementation to November 16, 2009. Tom Parkes agreed to sign an M.O.A. Bo advised he will have Labour Relations draw up the M.O.A.

Union advised that the MVI has some input errors. It was agreed Michael would fix the errors and recalculate the MVI.

Management provided an updated 075 with all wheeling updates complete.

Management provided a master block list to the union as requested.

Route Measurement asked Management and Union if there were any current issues that could be resolved during the Restructure process.

Management asked to eliminate as much day routing and 4:00 starts as possible.

Management advised they have issues with large volumes at some RPO’s and need pre-clearances added to some rover tours. Katie to provide RMO’s with a list of which RPO’s and commercial pick ups this applies to.

Management asked for 13 rover tours instead of the 8 that now exist.

Management requested more trucks as there are issues some days in having the trucks return on time for the rover tours.

Route Measurement advised that more trucks may not be possible but Bo will look into it.

Route Measurement advised they will do an RPO study on volumes.

Tom Parkes will be observer for CUPW and Gloria Gobin will be local knowledge.

Route Measurement asked Depot management to ensure that Supervisors spend some time observing restructure process.

Management advised that P.V list is not complete yet.

Depot Superintendent was tasked with finding Meal on route locations.

Only outstanding issue was to come to an agreement between CUPW and Route measurement on load & unload study done.
