Unfinished Business

1.      Maple, LJOSH Minutes-Union has been requesting minutes for over a year now yet still not received.  B. Pricop to follow up.

Also outstanding is their Workplace Committee Report.  B. Pricop will follow up.

2.      Identification of “On-Call Relief & Helper”-Most OC Relief are assigned.  If facility requires coverage they will communicate within the PC& R Officer network to secure unassigned OCR.  Closed.

3.      Maple RSMC Relief assigned to Maple-Union asked if they are crossing locals?  Union due issues if crossing locals.  Lance to advise.

          4.  Need clarity on criteria in use of helpers.  Replacements will be replaced with on call relief.  Lance to advise.

5.     Racks – WBC-Closed.

           6.  Stouffville, Richmond Hill – Contracting out to CUS RPO clearances?

                Shafin wanted to bring CUS into the local.  Being discussed by CUPW      Nationally.

7.  Modified Duties-Management advised that RSMC can do mod on their route.

8.  SS4 Maple- Union stated route has not been staffed in 3 years.  Mgt stated it was in staffing process.  Barb Pricop to respond on status of route and status of incumbent.

9.     LJOSH – Maple-

         10.  Malvern – SS8 coverage-Grievance filed.  An on call covered it. Monday YDC clerk covered it.  Closed.

New Business

Other Issues-Round Table

1.  As of July 1 not using the on call relief -Do they get first opportunity for an assignment back at their home station. 

If a route holder gets sick and cant cover the route and he comes back tomorrow, how many days does he get paid.   

J. Coe to seek out subject matter expert to clarify all staffing questions.

2.  Maple HH-EE taking HH home to collate-.Maple station has a form for employees to sign when they are taking flyers home.  Barb Pricop to investigate

3.  PDT Training-Newmarket ee all got $47.  Randy to investigate.

4.      What is the process for RSMC restructure. Geo Route application is that considered tech change?  J. Coe to invite Lois Jeffery to next meeting.

Unionville- OT was called offering ot to employees to cover RSMC Routes.  LC were offered under voucher system after RSMC were canvassed.  Closed.
