Deletion of PT DRS at Scarborough F 5.5 hour position. Deletion of PT DRS position at Malvern 3 hour position. Create FT DRS position to support the current workload. The incumbent of the Scar F position, B. Boyd is a PPD employee and alternate accommodation could be made in PT DRS position at Willowdale B, 4 hour position. The union stated this would be a reduction of hours for employee. Also the FT DRS position is not a route therefore Article 47 does not apply. Management advised that assessment of volumes will be conducted therefore a further review is required. No action in this matter will be taken at this time.
Group 1 position 80582611 FT Postal Clerk, Don Mills Management advised this position is being deleted. An internal bid among all FT Group 1 employees within section must be applied. The RTS position would be excluded from the bid as is the incumbent, G. Maniatis. Bid results will be shared upon completion. Effective date for implementation is July 6, 2009. It was agreed so as not to displace any employee from the station, alternate arrangements to bank displaced employee against deleted position number until next available vacancy comes available. J. Coe to communicate with C. Samonte in this matter.
Group 2 Create 2 PT LCA positions at Unionville 1. 20 hour schedule, 15:30 to 19:30. This is a change to original proposal. 2. 24 hour schedule, Mon 03:00 to 11:00, Tues to Fri 07:00 to 11:00. Implementation is scheduled for July 6, 2009
Failure to Staff True Vacancies Data was provided to the union for review. The following payment agreement was reached:
