MINUTES OF MONTHLY CONSULTATION BETWEEN GTA-DELIVERY-TORONTO EAST AND CUPW-SCARBOROUGH LOCAL RSMC SEPTEMBER 10, 2008

CONTROL CENTRE INFORMATION & NUMBER FOR RSMC
Management has ordered business cards which will reflect the number of the Control Centre; in addition there will be a place to identify the number of the actual work location which will be written in. This will be for all Scarborough locations. The original Printer was unable to furnish the product, another supplier obtained, they are expected in within days.
STOUFVILLE-UPDATE CALLS
Two routes have been approved for October 1, 2008, SS7 and SS10. There remain four points of call in the TSAT process; results are provided to the RSMC and supervisor. Management to confirm who is advised and involved.

OVER ASSESSED ROUTES
Rich Hill is complete, WBC is ongoing, Stouffville to be confirmed.
APOC SORTING RSMC ROUTES
The union suggests that where the requirement exists that presently there are 7 on-call relief without assignment, as well as several replacement employees without assignment presently.
It was suggested that prior to a RSMC utilizing another RSMC to complete their route one of the above be utilized. The RSMC providing this assistance is resulting in the RSMC working excessive hours, potentially leading to issues/concerns of performance or situations alleged by management.
Management agreed that this is preferred, however, are limited in advising the RSMC who should be there replacement. Both parties wish to avoid issues which may be influenced by working excessive hours and recommend usage of those presently not being utilized. Both parties will cascade this offer. .

The union stated that grievances have not be heard in several months and further, that copies of LJOSH minutes are not being provided the local union.
Management stated that there has been a change of manager and may not be aware. L. Waine to contact manager, Kathleen Gallagher.

Potentially the Corporation may be looking for another facility in the future, alternatively, a partial movement of all or some RSMC.
