MINUTES OF CONSULTATION BETWEEN Zone 6 Collection and Delivery And CUPW-SCARBOROUGH LOCAL July 21, 2008

Any employee on the list that will be asked to work for the stat holiday should have the proper training prior to the holiday date. Julie to confirm with the Depot that the employees have the training required .
Confirmation of the LCA requirement was discussed and confirmed going forward that if an LCA is required the employee is from the same station list . The LCA ‘s can only be on the same list . The Depot will be required to confirm whoever comes in for these duties will have proper MMHE training if required
NOTE – The overtime lists are by Classification Only for Group 2 The overtime lists for by Section Only for Group 1
REALIGNMENT OF LCA POSITIONS
Management informed the union they would like to delete two part time positions within Zone 6 and create a new full time position that would be utilized facility wide in 280 Progress Ave ( Shift 1 )
Position # 80576123 (part time) is vacant at Scar Depot 11 Position # 82197738 (part time) is vacant at Scar Depot C
The New Position that is full time will be attached to Scar C
The New Position will be posted for bid along with current vacant LCA position that is currently attached to Scar F. The Scar F position, which was not a designated rehab position, was held pending a Art 54 placement but there are no suitable employees on the current Art 54 list.
There was discussion concerning art 54 accommodation but there are two LCA positions for that purpose in Depot 11 . No one has currently be assigned to those positions so they will be placed for temporary assignment bid at Depot 11 ( Installation Only )
RETAIL DRIVE – THRU POSITION
Management is looking at moving this position to under Collection and Delivery
Discussion took place surrounding 13:13 bids , current financial duties and it was agreed this matter will be held over until Julie and the Retail Manager review further . |
