AJAX

The union raised the issue of a RSMC who owns their own route, however, was acting as a replacement on another route, that incumbent on a long term absence. The issue of concern involves the route holder utilizing a helper on their own route, which is valued and paid at less than the daily rate. The parties agreed to review the specifics and discuss the week of April 21, 2008. Until discussion occurs the status quo will continue.

UNIONVILLE

The union raised the issue of a route where mail delivery was not effected, and now a backlog exists. A large amount of mail remains to be delivered, the union suggesting that overtime be offered to the incumbent, a new employee on the route to clear mails. Management will review and advise.
