SCARBOROUGH LOCAL CONSULTATION

TEMP LISTS

IN ATTENDANCE: December 7, 2005

Management                                                     CUPW, Scarborough Local

S. Simpson                                                       M. Duquette

J. Coe                                                                L. Charles

                                                                            K. Davidson

J. Coe stated the intent for Management to separate the temp list by Zones.  The current process is too much workload demand for one person and is having a negative impact on other Zone Officer work activities also.

M. Duquette expressed concern regarding the ensurance that terms would receive an equitable opportunity for work.

In creating new lists there is a requirement to first identify the requirements for each zone based on long term absences and vacancies and then solicit bids from all terms giving them a choice of Zone 5, 6 or 7.

Management agreed.

It was agreed there would be further discussion table for the December 14, 200S Union/Management meeting.
