RICH HILL CASE STRIPS

 

Management stated that the case strips for Rich Hill are near completion. Unionville case strips resolved.

 

AJAX

 

Management to confirm whether the husband was paid special leave.

 

RELIEF FOR RICH HILL, PICKERING, AJAX, UNIONVILLE, AND MAPLE

 

A separate consultation will be conducted with respect to this issue.

 

The union inquired whether a replacement covering another RSMCs extended leave has the right to hire in effect a helper to perform their route.

 

Management to review.

 

WBC EMPLOYEE NOT PAID FOR WORK PERFORMED @ UNIONVILLE

 

Resolved.

MAPLE-HEALTH & SAFETY MINUTES

 

The union is not receiving the health and safety minutes. L. Waine to address.

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

PICKERING

 

Routes RR3 and 4 were changed, SS 4 being eliminated, combined with SS1. These changes were actioned on October 1, 2007, when the issue of lack of 90 notice was raised, management agreed to suspend until notice fulfilled. However, SS1 is receiving SS4’s mail requiring additional sortation that is not compensated. The employee involved has not been provided the new rate as yet as well.

 

Management to review.

 

RELIEF NOT UTILIZED IN STATION

 

Management proposed that relief employees not being utilized for vacation purposes within the station be considered and utilized within the zone to encourage continued employment/. The union was in agreement.
