UNFINISHED BUSINESS

 

STOUFFVILLE

 

The union stated that the new collective agreement provides for a 40 hour week, one route previously discussed is at 9 hours, a route in Rich Hill is at 12 hours with a new RPO added, employee has been instructed to clear.

 

Management stated that if a route works in excess of 40 hours per week for 4 consecutive weeks they are to employ a helper. The union is to provide the route number, added POC and RPO that apparently was added to the route.   

 

The union questioned when case strips will be completed in Rich Hill, management to review.

 

WBC-DELAY IMPLEMENTATION

 

The union stated that SS 24 & 25 conducted a 4 week study; route is at 8.5 hours daily. 100 POC were removed.

 

Management stated that this issue is in the grievance procedure, information obtained from S. Valla, issue to be left there.  

 

NEW

 

UNIONVILLE

 

Case plans continue to be completed and updated.  

 

PICKERING

 

G. Pierce denies assurance that route ownership would be awarded. A detailed report was read outlining events.

 

The union stated that monies had not been paid for work performed.

 

Management to review, if monies owing, will be forwarded.    

 

AJAX

 

Resolved through grievance procedure. However, D. Foster deducted 3 days [ay, union inquiring as to why.

 

Management to review.

 

 NEW BUSINESS

 

The union stated that Maple and Stouffville have routes over 8 hours, are meeting with D. Baldock tomorrow.

 

Management to review.

 

The union suggested that management utilize the same type of scheduled for relief @ Rich Hill, Ajax, Unionville and Maple as WBC. The union believes that Ajax is receiving 3 relief, management believed 2, shared with Ajax and Pickering. 

 

The union stated that there are several employees @ Ajax, Unionville and Maple who have not worked since 2004, replacements assigned, need to address.

 

Employees may be on WSIB, will review.

 

The union stated that an employee from WBC performed duties @ Unionville and has not been paid. Management requested that the union provide a name for review and resolution. 

 

The union stated that employees should receive premium pay for the two day mandatory training course.

 

Management to review.

 

The union stated that they are not receiving the H&S minutes from Maple again. Management to request that they be sent.
