A review of the restructure report show a net gain of 1 FT Letter Carrier and a reduction of 1 PT Letter Carrier. One CMB code M1J 2C8 was moved from PT walk 26 to PT walk 111, causing walk 111 to become FT.
The effective implementation date for this change will be June 18, 2008.
It was agreed that all part-time walks will be bid upon internally starting May 24, 2007 and ending on May 25, 2007. For first round bidding rights purposes it was agreed the restructure date of May 3, 2007 would be the cut-off date.
The senior part-time employee in the local is to be made full-time through the normal staffing process.
The start time for walk 111 was reviewed and it was agreed upon, subject to a possible review following implementation should any operational concerns necessitate a change.
The Union has agreed to waive the 15 day verification period.
