PARCELS TO DOOR
Resolved
YEARLY INSPECTIONS
Inspections are proceeding according to schedule, last year’s inspections completed.
The union stated that there are routes in Pickering and Rich Hill exceeding 8 hours, adjustments are required for relief coverage.
Management stated that review will occur upon completion of present restructures.

SPLITTING OF ROUTES-UNIONVILLE
Assessments completed and forwarded to national for sign-off. Implementation is scheduled for June 2007. Both parties to verify progress in obtaining sign-off. Remuneration for routes requires identification to allow selection.
STOUFFVILLE 9 HOUR ROUTE
Management stated that national approved route, unable to alter at this level. The union stated that a grievance has been filed, will allow grievance to take its course. The union stated that review should occur for this work to be performed from the YDC, L. Waine to review.
PICKERING
The union stated that this issue remains of concern, the route holder, and replacement, a mother and her daughter have been approached, interviewed, and followed, the later involving the police. A four page letter provided will be receiving a response. The union was requested to provide the occurrence number of the police report and will forward to Corporate Security for assistance. A reply will then be generated.

WBC-DELAY IMPLEMENTATION OF CHANGES TO ROUTE
The union stated that changes to a route were delayed in implementation that affected the remuneration for this route holder amounting to approximately a week and a half’s pay, S. Valla had indicated that the matter was delayed at the national level. K. Burtt to review with S. Valla for clarification.
NEW BUSINESS
J. ROTMAN
The union stated that this employee who held three routes was deprived of notice for the removal of one of the routes and therefore was entitled to damages.
Management stated they would review.
RICH HILL-PARKING TICKETS
The union stated that several employees have received tickets for parking in the fire route and should be reimbursed for these tickets. The union argued that since their employment requires a vehicle, parking should be provided.
Management stated that they would not pay these tickets; employees are responsible for where they park their vehicle. Parking is available at this facility. Improvements to stairs and side entry and loading capability should assist.
UNIONVILLE-RPO
The union stated that the RPO @ Midland & Steeles is closed, are employees receiving remuneration for the additional work and travel. The union had raised with the supervisor, L. Fischer to no avail.
Management will review and advise.
Next meeting is scheduled for April 11, 2007
