Grievance 602-03-00438

The Parties agreed that Canada Post to pay all MSCs (FT and PT) on strength at the YDC on December 1, 2004, a total sum of $30,000.00 divided by the number of employees as above.

Group 1 Work Schedule

The Parties agreed that Canada Post to pay eight (8) hours @ regular time, to FT PO4s on shift 1, group A, on strength November 11, 2005.  The Parties also agreed to compile a list of grievances on this issue for the Union to withdraw.

Group 3 (grievances filed re:  work in the bargaining unit)

The Parties discussed implementing a new work schedule for the Group 3 employees to ensure coverage when the sorter is operating.  The Corporation is to provide the Union with a proposed schedule, to be discussed in a future consultation.

MSC Overtime – Emergency Calls

The Parties agreed that the sign-in sheet for emergency call OT is not an appropriate process.  They discussed using radio calls only, to employees who are in the area of the customer location (to offer the OT by seniority if more than one person is in the area and respond the call).  Further to that, they discussed that should no MSC in the area of the customer location accepts the OT, it would be offered to the MSCs on site, by seniority.

The Union asked for time to review this proposal and suggested the Parties meet again to finalise the process.

The Corporation agreed.

END.
