Step 1) Right Click on the desktop and you will see the menu below. Click on “New".
Step 2) This will show the options available, each computer has different options. Click on "Shortcut".
Step 3) This will show the “Create Shortcut” dialogue box below. Click on "Browse".
Step 4) After a second or two, you will see this. Click on "My Computer".
Step 5) This show the Contents of the Computer. Click on "Local Disk (C:)“.
Step 6) This will show the contents of the C:\ Drive. Click on “CUPW".
Step 7) This will show the contents of the CUPW directory. Click on the file titled “2003 Collective Agreement Nat.doc”.
Step 8) Once you have selected the file, you will return to the screen below. Click on “Next”.
Step 9) This will take you to the next screen to name your Shortcut. Enter any name you wish. Click on “Finish”
Step 10) The shortcut has been created on your desk top. Clicking on the shortcut will open the contract.
The CD or DVD may have other files or Power Points. You can use this same process to create links to the grievance investigation form and CPC grievance form if included on your disk. |
