·               On April 22, 2010, the Metro-Toronto Region filed an application for certification with the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to represent the ten couriers working for TurnAround Couriers.

·               On June 8, 2010, the CIRB ordered that CUPW be certified as the bargaining agent for:

“all employees working as couriers at TurnAround Couriers Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, excluding receptionists, dispatchers, order takers and other inside workers.”

·               Three other applications for certification to represent couriers in the Greater Toronto Area are before the CIRB.
