ANNUAL LEAVE ENTITLEMENTS

Shortly, the Annual Leave Selection will begin for Employees in Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and Group 4.  The entitlements for the employees for next year's Annual Leave Selection (April/1/2005 to March/31/2006) is outlined below.

The entitlement (the number of weeks of leave) is based on your CONTINUOUS SERVICE DATE (C.S.D.).  The order that employees select their annual leave is based on their SENIORITY DATE. Employees who are tied, will be ranked by their “Random Number”. The chart below indicates the entitlement by Continuous Service Date for the purpose of the Annual Leave Draws.

For example, if your first date of employment was prior to April 1, 1978 you are entitled to 7 weeks annual leave, regardless of your Seniority.

Temporary Employees newly promoted into part time positions should ensure you get the annual leave you are entitled too.  For example, if your first date of employment was prior to April 1, 1999 you are entitled to 4 weeks annual leave, regardless of your Seniority.
